Fronesis Advert started inside a cleaning company.
We own and operate Puresome, a rental and home cleaning company right here in Benton Harbor. The trucks, the schedules, the phone that has to ring on a Tuesday — that's our day job. And we built the software it runs on ourselves: online booking and estimates, job scheduling, invoicing, timesheets, a customer portal. When we talk about missed calls and empty weeks, it's because we've lived them on our own money.
The name “Fronesis” comes from the ancient Greek concept of phronesis — practical wisdom. The ability to determine the right action for the right situation. That's our approach to marketing: no cookie-cutter playbooks, no tactics applied out of context. Just honest diagnosis and the right system for where you are right now.
Running Puresome, we watched what gets pitched to local service businesses. Freelancers selling pages that never make a phone ring. National retainers selling dashboards of impressions to people who've never set foot in Berrien County. Marketplaces selling the same lead to four competitors at once. All of it from people who have never run a service truck.
So Fronesis Advert sells one thing: the system we actually use. We're a new agency, and we won't pretend otherwise. Our first client was our own company, and we're documenting our results in public — starting with the Founding Five.
